Virtue Packs provide a host of resources for parents to use at home, literally as they lie down (bedtime stories), and they eat (meal time cards), and as they walk or drive down the road (KidJam radio show, and parenting matters for parents). Parents are strongly encouraged to use the packs. We are finding that our families are doing just that. Rather than kids coming to church to learn about God, kids are learning about God all week and coming to church as another place where Biblical values are emphasized.

The importance of teaching virtues is clearly illustrated in the book of Deuteronomy: "Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:7 (NIV).
