I Believe in God . . .Andy Fuqua
Our ancient Faith has its foundation in the statement, "I believe in God . . ." God has revealed Himself to us through two great books, the Book of the Bible (His Word), and the Book of Nature. In this episode, we look at the Book of Nature. Most people think the first step of faith is to believe in God. But, to believe anything about the origin of the Universe is actually a step of faith, since nothing about where we came from can be proved 100%. There are three basic theories about where we came from. We look at each of these in brief, including the theory which forms the basis of the Christian Faith - belief in a personal God.

Everywhere, Always, and By AllAndy Fuqua
There is a Faith that was "once for all entrusted to the saints." (Jude 3). As we embark on this multi-week study of the story of God, we will be covering some of the foundational beliefs of that Faith. Why is it important for Christians to know, understand, hold fast to, and contend for the ancient, radical beliefs that make up our 2,000 year old Faith? As Christians, we join in communion with all believers around the world and throughout history, and are defined by what we believe. Although it is expressed in many forms and in many cultures, the one Faith, one Lord, and one baptism we profess holds true for all.

Back to the BasicsAndy Fuqua
Do you ever feel strung out? Sometimes I feel like things get a little too strung out and we need to stop for a moment and remember who we are, who we serve, and what we do. The writer of Hebrews scolded his readers for being spiritually immature - needing milk when they should be eating meat. I agree, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to drink a glass of milk. In this episode, we get back to the basics of worship by asking who, what, when, where, why, and how.

Psalm 33Andy Fuqua
David gives us two lessons about worship, leading worship (to be specific). He says we are to sing joyfully and play skillfully. This is an old episode, but as I'm in Austin, TX at the National Worship Leader Conference, I don't have the capability to pop out a new one. God bless!

Psalm 46Andy Fuqua
"There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells."
In this very poetic psalm, we see that in the midst of natural disasters, political unrest, wars, and divine judgement, God is with us. Perhaps the greatest act of worship is to be still and know that He is God and He is with us. We have no fear because God is with us. While the world around us rages, we can pause for a moment to be still and know God.

Psalm 25Andy Fuqua
Back from vacation! Now that I'm home, it's back to the podcast, which means back to Psalms. This week, we'll look at Psalm 25, which should sound familiar to all you Third Day fans. David is obsessed with God, as is obvious when we read this psalm. Are we obsessed with God?

Devoted to Worship - PrayerAndy Fuqua
At last, we're finally on the last week of studying Acts 2:42! We'll be returning to the Psalms shortly. This week, we look at the last of the four characteristics Luke says the early church was devoted to - prayer. Are we devoted to prayer? If we want to lead people into a deeper relationship with God through the act of worship, we need to have that deeper relationship ourselves. We do that by worshiping in private long before stepping on the platform on Sunday morning. Imagine if we all prayed just five minutes a day, everyday. What a difference
