Central Baptist Church

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for our Quarterly Business Meeting on Wednesday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. There are important decisions to be made in the life of the church and we need you to be present to voice thoughts and concerns and to vote on the matters at hand. We will gather for dinner prior to the meeting. We invite you to join us at 4:45 p.m. in Merriam Hall. The cost of dinner is $4.50 for adults and $1.25 for children 10 and under. A menu will be available on Sunday, July 12. Reservations are needed by noon on Tuesday, July 14. The following recommendation will be brought to the church by the New Berlin Exploration Team. Each member of the church family needs to hear the many voices of others in the church family as we genuinely seek the mind of Christ regarding this recommendation. Your participation is important! The New Berlin Team recommends that Central Baptist Church gratefully acknowledge the offer received from United Baptist Church of New Berlin, Illinois (UBC). The team further recommends that Central accept the offer as stated below, contingent on final approval by the UBC membership. The offer to be accepted is as follows:

• The membership of UBC is to merge with the Central and become members of Central.
• The property and all other assets of UBS are to be deeded to Central.
• Central is to continue a ministry in New Berlin using the New Berlin facility and staffing with professional and lay leadership as we see fit under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
