The Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland will host its Sixth Annual Conference for Caregivers on Saturday, August 16 at the Northfield Inn, Suites and Conference Center in Springfield. The conference targets two groups of caregivers, persons who are caregivers of family or friends and grandparents and relatives raising children.

The conference will take place from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Informational exhibits open to the public from 8 a.m - noon. The general session will feature Bobbe White , Certified Laugh Leader and author of Life in the Fast Lane. You will learn the benefits of humor and laughter and how to include them in everyday life. There will also be presentations on Medicare fraud, creating safe environments, stress, planning for the future and more. Lunch is included.
