Central Baptist Church

Central Baptist Church is a community of believers discovering and expressing God's will in our lives.

• We are central to the city of Springfield. Our main meeting place located at the corner of 4th & Jackson St in downtown Springfield, IL, just across the street from the governor's mansion.
• We are central to the state of IL. Springfield is in the center of the state of IL, and is the state capitol. Our church's building is only a couple blocks from the state capitol building.
• We are central to our nation. IL is located in the heartland, in the center of our great nation.
• We are dedicated to moving people to the center of God's will. At Central our main goal is helping people discover and express God's will for their lives. As we connect with God through worship we begin to discover His will. As we build community through small groups and Sunday school classes, we find opportunities to live out God's will.
• Jesus Christ is the central focal point of our lives. Our beliefs, values, and practices flow from Him and His teaching.
