The Arts are among the things that set humanity apart from the animals. We have the ability to artistically express powerful emotions in a variety of ways. God gave this creativity to us so that we could use it to bring glory to Him. Throughout history, the Church has been the foundation for artistic creativity. It is time once again for the Church to take back the Arts; we are the generation of David, and we will reclaim the Arts and use them again for the glory of the Uncreated One.

Music
Music, perhaps more than any of the other Fine Arts, has the power to connect with our souls. Maybe it's because God, Himself, is a musician - throughout the Bible God speaks in song and verse. Whatever the reason, music is the language in which our spirits and emotions speak to God, and therefore is one of the best ways we come together and worship Him. Central Baptist Church has excellent music! Our Classic Worship service is filled with choral music and beautiful instrumental works. Our Contemporary Worship service focuses on the worship music of today's generation while blending in a variety of styles and elements. In short, the music of our church is as varied as the people in our family.

Drama
Effective drama is one of the most powerful ways to communicate the truth of the scriptures. Central has a history of dramatic talent. We have extremely skilled actors, directors, stage crew, and set builders all attending our church! Stay tuned in our worship services for short dramatic pieces that bring the message home. Literature
The Bible is the richest source of literature in the world. Once again God used people's creative abilities to communicate His truth. The Bible is filled with all the elements of great literature: irony, suspense, humor, foreshadowing, etc. God created us in His image and gave us the ability to create great works of literature. Visual Arts
Did you know God is an artist? The next time you fly somewhere, take a window seat. When you brush your teeth, take a good look in the mirror. You are looking at God's art. Click here to watch a YouTube video called, "When God Paints." It is such an interesting thought to see God as an artist; and He is! Better yet, He shared His creative abilities with us!
